At
We encourage a happy, friendly atmosphere in which the children thrive. With an emphasis on every child developing their abilities to the full, we seek to instill a love of learning, a sense of enquiry and the ability to think for oneself. It is an important aim of ours to support each child in their development of self-esteem, self-confidence and respect for the needs of others.
Our staff are professional, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting each child's needs. They, together with the governing body and in partnership with parents, seek to provide the best possible school environment for all our pupils.
Our school is a primary school catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. The school is the responsibility of the North Lincolnshire Council, from whom it receives an annual budget. Children, both boys and girls, are accepted onto the roll of the school irrespective of their academic ability up to a limit of 36 children in any one year group. The school is a 'day' school, there being no boarding facilities.
The school has self contained classrooms, a purpose built nursery, a hall, a reference library, an administration area and a 20 station ICT suite.
The school provides accommodation for 250 children and is set amid substantial grounds that cater for a range of sporting activities and accommodate environmental and wildlife areas. A school has existed in the village for over 100 years. The present site was developed in 1976
