YIPEEEE! haha NOT.Last night i went to watch the year six play and It was ace and well done everybody! and a big well done to Laura Bartup who i never thought could sing.

we are thinking to move to goxhill in the next few months so we went to meet the head master and staff at the school where my 6 years old little boy will attend. Mr. Jackson was very helpfull and took all the time we needed to show us around the school , meeting some of the staff and answering all our questions and more, It was a very pleasant experience and surely give us more reason to put our son in this school, Thank you to Val at the entrance door who is a real sunshine, by the way, we are still looking for a house to rent asap.

My little girl (5) goes to Goxhill School and has come on leaps and bounds. What a fantastic school, kids all sooooo pleasant, respectful and lovely! Well done to Mr Jackson for remembering ALL the childrens names - even Foundation! Very impressed and look forward to many more happy years our little girl spends with you.

Hi, Goxhill was my first school in 1968. It was a very different place then! We left Goxhill soon after that but stayed in touch with the Van den Boss family for many years. My parents built the bungalow known as East-o-Mill on Ferry Road. I remember it all very clearly and have recently been looking at aerial photos. Some day I'll come back for a look round.

I was a pupil at the school 30 yrs ago ( my name was Emma Newall then). Recently, having been reflecting on who started me on a career in science, I have come to the decision that it was Mr Bellamy, who all those years ago helped stimulate my interest in natural science and helped to where I am now: a Research Scientist with the French Governement in the French Pacific. Another one of my earliest memories is of Miss Houson (not sure if it's still the same teacher) who told me off for singing "one potato, two potato..." on what I think was my first day in school, and of the poor woman trying to teach me the recorder, which was, and still is, not my strongest point.

i REALLY miss goxhill it is soooo much more nice an friendly than 2ndary i only c about 15 people that i went to school wiv did i already mention i really miss it?

Having had two vivid dreams about Goxhill within a short period of time, I suppose that it was inevitable that I would type 'Goxhill' into a search engine to see what came up...

I attended Goxhill primary school for four years. I left in about 1987, shortly before the conclusion of my final year and always regretted not having the experience of 'moving up' with my peers.

Mr Bailey, Mr Bellamy and Mrs Braun are teachers names that I remember. A strange system seemed to be in operation while I was there, in which the four years were split into three larger groups due to a staff shortage.

Educationally, the lessons were eccentric yet traditional - needle-work and country dancing featured heavily! Joking aside, the standard of the lessons was very high. We were educated to more-or-less GCSE standard in Mathematics and English for example.

I probably owe, in part, my interest in reading to the heavy workload imposed on us in the final year - a novel with book report every two weeks.

My happiest memory of my time at the school is probably story time and being read Swallows And Amazons. I wonder if someone still reads that to the kiddies?

THIS SCHOOL IS REALLY COOL I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE IT AND ALL THE SCHOOLS I HAVE BEEN TO ARE RUBISH I WILL BE REALLY SAD TO GO

This is in fact being written by Margaret Dixon's sister, Rita, as Margaret has no interest in computers! She was at Goxhill School from 1947 to 1958 and is now called Margaret Holtby, being married for more than 40 years. I remember the house we lived in, next door to Mary Burkitt.
